Update on Face to Face Appointments Within the Practice

Posted by: marcia - Posted on:

Please be aware that although some of the lockdown restrictions have been lifted today, we will continue to screen any patients who attend the surgery. Our door at Kippax will remain locked and will only be opened to patients who have an appointment to see a nurse or doctor face to face.

If you have a face to face appointment please wait in the car park at your appointment time. When your appointment was booked you will have been asked, if possible, to bring a mobile phone with you. The clinician will ring you on your mobile phone to ensure that you have arrived at the car park. The clinician will then message the receptionist at our front door to ask them to open it for you.

On arrival in the building, you will be asked to use a hand sanitiser. We would also ask that you wear a face mask. The receptionist will direct you to the doctor or nurse’s room.

We will try to ring you on your mobile at your designated appointment time but obviously, sometimes we run late. Please bear with us if we ring you a few minutes late.

If you do not have a mobile phone, we will ask the receptionist to speak to you in the car park and direct you into the building.
