An exemption card has been developed for people who are unable to wear face coverings in shops and other indoor public spaces.

West Yorkshire Metro has also developed one for public transport.

  • Children Under 11,
  • Vulnerable patients with dementia, learning disabilities and were putting on and wearing a face mask would cause you distress.
  • Patients who have a physical or mental illness or impairment, or disability that means you cannot put on, wear or remove a face covering.
  • If you are providing assistance to someone who relies on lips to communicate.

NB for patients with respiratory problems. We advise wearing a face covering for your appointment. If you do not wish to do so please discuss with reception prior to your appointment.
