Pride in Practice :
We know that many LGBT people worry about accessing services for fear of experiencing discrimination or even hostility on the grounds of their sexual orientation, gender identity and/or trans status.
LGBT Foundation would like to hear from you about your experiences of healthcare services.
You can contact LGBT Foundation in confidence on our helpline number 0345 3 30 30 30 or contact Pride in Practice Programme at [email protected]
Pride in Practice is a programme to ensure that all LGBT people have access to GP practices, Dental Practices, Pharmacies, and Optometry Outlets that are LGBT inclusive.

We hold your patient records in the strictest confidence, regardless of whether they are electronic or on paper. We take all reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorised access to your records, however they are stored. Any information that may identify you is only shared with the practice team, or, if you are referred to hospital, to the clinician who will be treating you. We will only share information about you with anyone else if you give your permission in writing. All staff undertake mandatory ‘Equality and Diversity’ training at required intervals and the practice policy is updated annually or if any changes in legislation.
